Our employees wholeheartedly support this mission by participating in PITT OHIO’s largest fundraiser, Rock & Bowl, and the results from 2025 were nothing short of spectacular.
On Saturday, March 29, PITT OHIO hosted the annual Rock & Bowl event, which turned out to be a sold-out success. This year, our employees and vendor sponsors raised an impressive and record-breaking $74,199.03, surpassing last year’s Rock & Bowl total by $11,683.26.
Rock & Bowl brings together PITT OHIO employees, their families, and our generous vendors for a day of fun, bowling, and community spirit. The event not only fosters camaraderie and enjoyment but also serves two great causes: Autism Speaks and The Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
Employee Benefits Analyst, Erin Dougherty, captured the essence of the event: “One of the best parts about attending Rock & Bowl is seeing everyone come together and enjoy themselves while supporting a great cause. Whether it’s the laughter during bowling or the excitement of the raffle draws, these moments create a sense of community and shared purpose.”
Enterprise Solutions Executive, Ally MacIvor, shared her enthusiasm: “I love coming to Pittsburgh for this event. As soon as the date is announced, I begin organizing my teams in Cleveland, which are both bowlers and non-bowlers. Participation grows each year because everyone has so much fun even if they aren’t bowling! My family and friends are already expressing interest in returning for Rock & Bowl in 2026. Attending with my family, friends, and colleagues is an incredibly enjoyable experience, and it reinforces my appreciation for our trucking company. I am proud to be part of an organization that is dedicated to giving back to the community.”
Analytics Engineer, Gloria Givler, echoed this sentiment: “Rock & Bowl is a wonderful chance to get together with the team and have some fun outside of the office. I was glad to see how many people came out for such a great cause!”

Mark Rubican from HDS shared, “HDS has been a lane sponsor for many years and every time we attend, I am impressed by the work you and your team do to support Autism Speaks and The Boys & Girls Clubs. It is nice to know that there are companies out there who make it a priority to look after those who may get overlooked. You do not have to do any of this, but you choose to and that is something to be truly proud of. Even though we are not the best bowlers, the atmosphere made for a great time, and we all walked away with smiles on our faces. As an aside, it is hard to get my one son away from his video games, but this is one event that he looks forward to every year. Thanks again!”

Thanks to the efforts of our volunteers, months of preparation culminated in a day filled with generosity and community spirit.
